Courtney completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science in Osteopathy at RMIT University. She was fortunate enough to learn from Tim Taylor through observation and hands on skills work in her fifth year of studies. Courtney attended an internship in Calgary, Canada before moving there to work full time in 2020.
While living in Canada, Courtney expanded her skills in paediatrics and women’s health osteopathy by undertaking a number of courses in these areas. In Calgary, she worked very closely with other osteopaths, physiotherapists and massage therapists, enjoying a collaborative approach to her treatment.
Over the years, Courtney’s capabilities and passion for osteopathy grew while working as a sports trainer for local football teams across Melbourne, working closely with players and experienced physiotherapists. Through this work, she has been exposed to a number of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation, contributing to successful sporting injury recoveries.
Her passion for healthcare stemmed from a life of sport. Starting from a young age, Courtney has been involved in athletics, netball and dancing as well as her enjoyment of helping and supporting others. It was inevitable she was drawn to a career in osteopathy. As she says, “It just seemed the obvious and perfect fit”.
Courtney moved back to Melbourne at the end of 2021 powered by her passion and continues to build on her knowledge in osteopathy. Her focus and strength lies in listening, feeling, treating and strengthening her patients’ bodies to improve their enjoyment of life.
